Crap Trap AKA Traffic

No farmer waves, friendly following distances or beautiful country side views but instead; middle fingers, brake lights and a concrete jungle! Don't get me wrong the skyline of Minneapolis is quite the sight but when I have to stare at it for 10 minutes waiting to exit onto I94 it loses some of its beauty. I enjoy how Dave on KDWB phrased it "quite the crap trap" traffic was today and that is exactly it! Its a TRAP! You get stuck in a lane and can't merge unless you have some serious guts (which I have not developed yet) you are stuck in the same place for what seems like hours and you are stuck alone in a car (I am considering taking the bus just so I can avoid the silence and same 3 songs the radio plays on repeat). I guess I can't complain to much considering some of my co-workers drive over an hour and I only have a 35-45 minute drive. Many of you who drive in traffic might be thinking "That is nothing!" but I will remind you if I drive 45 minutes on the nice country roads of Wisconsin I will easily make it 45 miles...in Minneapolis I make it 17.8 to be precise. 17.8 miles of feeling stuck but luckily I am just stuck in traffic and not life in general. I am lucky to have a wonderful support system, great new roomie (Joe), a good job right out of college and many other blessings!
